Jamie put on a great show, as always. This was my 4th Jamie Cullum concert, 2nd on the Pursuit Tour and I was not let down. In fact, he exceeded any expectations I had. I have somehow lucked out and have been front row for all of the concerts which really allows you to see Jamie's talent. He seemed very relaxed and like he was enjoying himself. He did a wonderful mix of old and new songs. From The Pursuit he did "Don't Stop the Music", "I'm All Over It", "Just One of Those Things", "Wheels", "If I Ruled The World", "Not While I'm Around", "Gran Torino" (JC solo) and "Mixtape". From Catching Tales he did "Get Your Way", "Photograph", and "My Yard"- which was the only song he played the guitar on. He said it had been a long time since they played that song. Then from Twentysomething he did "These Are the Days", "Wind Cries Mary", "I Get a Kick Out of You" (JC and Chris), "Frontin", and "All at Sea". From Pointless Nostalgic he did the beginning of "It Ain't Necessarily So" which led into "Frontin". He also did a few covers like "Cry Me a River" and "Poker Face" and "I Got a Woman". He came into the crowd during "Cry Me a River" which was fun. He kept the energy high the whole time. He played longer at this show than he did at Massey Hall, but there was no encore, which everyone seemed surprised at. It was a rather abrupt ending, but it didn't matter because the rest of the night was incredible. I cannot wait for him to come back around- hopefully to Detroit so we don't have to drive to Toronto and Chicago. But the over 20 hours in the car were well worth it.
