Jamie is someone you have to see perform live to truly grasp his genius. The energy, the charisma, the absolute adorableness do not come across in his tv performances or even in his recorded CDs.
I'm 58 so I've seen many concerts and I'd say he compares with Elton John, Leon Russell and (strike me dead) Dave Brubeck on the piano. The band was tight and his supporting act added to the energy. I think I cann proudly say that I'm his oldest groupie. The audience loved him and he loved them in return. One of my favorite parts was when he brought the band into the audience for a jam. That and the silver shoes. I was expecting more ballads, but I wasn't dissapointed. It was definitely worth the four hour trip from Victoria Canada. Good Luck Jamie - you deserve the best for making so many people happy.
