Apparently Scotland is enjoying it's best snow in years and all five ski resorts are open and enjoying lots of visitors!

Why is it the UK appears to be the only place in the world which cannot cope with snow?!
We've had the heaviest snow fall in 18 years and it ground the country to a halt (I was ill,I had a reason to not go to work!).
Airports were shut, london buses didn't run (but buses everywhere else did, why was London so different...?), schools shut.
Mind you, we don't get decent snow that often, so don't blame schools letting te kids have time off to go and play.
Somebody made a good point yesterday though he said something like:
'Everyone has become so obessed with the ideaof global warming that we seem to think it'll never snow anymore and then we wonder why we can't deal with it'
The UK has been very cold since November...global warming, what Global warming?!
How is everyone else getting on with the snow acorss europe?
Ireland seemed to deal with it well! I imagine my county was one of the worst hit, the schools have been closed nearly every day this week I think. Of course, did I get much snow where I go to college?! Course not!

I can still see the snow in the hills

It's snowing almost every week for 2 months where I live... Seeing melted, brown snow on the roads is a sad view

We had such a nice and warm weather in southern Finland and it felt like spring would finally be here. But then.. today it started snowing again! I really like snow, but summer would be a nice thing for a change!

Why did it snow a week too early for Christmas?!
It looks so pretty and Christmassy where I live, since it snowed pretty much all day yesterday.

London was so cute with the snow! Specially where I live now, in Hampstead!
For me it's quite a magical moment because it never snows in Lisbon (it is almost impossible).
I am back home now, for Christmas...I just wished it snowed here as well.

I attempted to go out today Xmas shopping. I got as far as the end of the road and couldn't go any further because of the bad snow and ice, it's just not safe to drive. So I've had to come back home. No work for me tomorrow if it continues

Make sure you all keep safe on your travels ladies!
Some snow fell yesterday here but didn't settle and besides a bit of hail this morning, we are pretty snow/ice free.

Thanks Winnie
We are expecting more snow this afternoon. I hope not as I don't fancy driving on ice and snow in the dark, it's bad enough in day light.

We had really bad snow today, and I had no choice but to drive to work rather than get a train I was doing an office move and needed the car. Such a nightmare, still it all looks very pretty

I'm getting dad to drop me off to get the 8am bus this week so I don't have to walk 10-15mins and potentially slip over, i'll have my car by March hopefully but i'm almost glad I didn't have to drive in this weather!

We only had snow one day in January.the day before we went Wimbledon to see Paul O'Grady in PANTO.it snowed when we came out and it snowed a lot on the M3 especially around Fleet Servicess. It was quite and adventure.we had no idea what the weather was like further west.Forutunately by the time we reached Rounhams, the snow wasn't as bad
Two days later we were going to see Les Mis in Cardiff but because of the snow across Salisbury plain,we decided not to go.Went to the cinema and saw the film Nine instead
