Hi all,

We have been hard at work getting the new Pointless Nostalgic forum ready for you. It is coming together nicely, but it looks like we need a bit more time to smooth out some unexpected bumps. We are going to move the launch of the new boards to Tuesday, September 26.

We will need to shut the current fourm down in order to transfer all the posts. This will take place in the evening ov Monday, September 25. There are a lot of posts here so this is going to take us a bit of time. Helen will let you know more specific times for the board shutdown on Monday.

I have also read a few of the responses to Helen's original post about the forum change. Please don't worry too much about the new boards. There will definitely be changes but we are here to walk you through it if you have any challenges. This current board will also remain open to post if you are having difficulty getting signed in to the new forum. The PN mods have been testing the new boards for us and should also be able to walk you through anything that is different.

Lastly, when the new boards launch, we will still be working on improving them. We hope that you will let Helen, myself or any of the mods know if you are expereincing anything unusual or are missing a particular feature that you are used to. In no time we will be able to make the new forum just as good, if not better, than these one.

Hmmm. I like the new boards very much. I have a few things to suggest, though. 

Agree!!!!! I miss the "TOP" buttom too! It is very useful.

Rosie, we never had a seperate user and login name. You now log in with your e-mail, but your username will still be the old one. You can't change your username, an admin has to do this.

Well then I don't get it. All my posts used to say "Head Over Heels," which I liked. Now they say rosiehaller. It's not a big deal, but if you could change it back, I'd really appreciate it.

Wow, thanks Brink. I thought I was losing my mind! I guess I'll just to ask if they can change it for me.

Ah, ok, I didn't know this. That must be the problem then.
