I hate to quibble, but Moneypenny doesn't have a first name.
As Q is Q and M is M, so Moneypenny is Moneypenny.
Miss Moneypenny's first name isn't revealed in any of the novels or films. Bond and the all the Ms generally call her "Penny" - in (the film) You Only Live Twice, for example, by Sean Connery.
However, in the book "Bond Girls are Forever," Lois Maxwell says something to the effect that the character prefers being called "Miss Moneypenny" because she doesn't want anyone to know that her name was Gertrude, although this is almost certainly a joke.
In a Simpson's episode you do get a sly reference to both character and actress: Krusty's secretary is Lois PennyCandy in 'You Only Live Once'.
The 'Honey' you are thinking of is probably Honey (Honeychile) Rider, in Dr. No.
Not giving away part or all of a character's name is a well-worn thriller-writer's trick - cf Morse's first name, Len Deighton never naming 'Harry Palmer' etc.
Sorry to be so pedantic.

Have just watched Pirates of the Caribbean (for I think the 4th time ever) and I just have to say that it is one of the greatest films ever made! Some might disagree, but I just absolutely love it.
It brings back fond memories of my holiday in Florida last year where I first saw it (before everyone else in UK haha!) but apart from that it is just a brilliant all round film!
Johnny Depp is amazing in it. I think him along with the soundtrack really make the film as the music at the end is just magic!

When Harry Met Sally's just a classic isn't it?!

21 Grams is good then is it? Was thinking of renting that, probably will now.
Saw Collateral last night, very good. Was actually quite funny which i wasn't expecting. Tom Cruise looks kinda strange with the grey hair, like he's going for the Richard Gere look!

i went to see wicker park yesterday...... i have to say i was very dissapointed with the film. when seeing the adverts it looked okay, i film i may wish to watch but looked an exciting storyline from what i saw.
the first hour of the film i actually felt like going to sleep, from the chopping and changing between present and past it was hard to keep up. the storyline was also very boring and contributed to the yawning of most of the audience. during the time i heard many an exaggerated sighs and yawns. my friends kept talking thru it cause they didnt like it altho we waited to see the end in case something did happen. needless to say about half an hour before the end things did pick up, but were very predictable and boring. the chase of the film which i had felt from the advert faded into a yawn. even josh hartnett(sp?) could not keep the story good enough to pay much attention to.
you may think i am going over the top but trust me it is not worth the money to go see it.
3/10 - they had some good camera angle that made you guessing and look nice but nothing else

I saw Gothika for the second time last night, really freaks me out but i'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to ghost films! Robert Downey Jnr's a fox
Saw The Human Stain which i wasn't that impressed with. Seemed like a good story but they didn't do enough with it. It just didn't really grab my interest but i like Anthony Hopkins so it was ok!
The Three Amigos was just fab today though!! (I can just see people posting now saying "you think Human Stain was bad but The Three Amigos is fab??!!)!!!
I really liked that film when i was younger, used to watch it a lot! It doesn't really do much for me now but when i was younger the bit with the horses singing really made me laugh!?!?!! (Hey i was young, what can i say?!)
But Steve Martin is a genius. His more recent films just haven't been doing him justice, why he's made some of the films he's made lately i just can't understand coz his older stuff was so good! I love The Jerk, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, Man with Two Brains and his stand up in Wild and Crazy Guy was excellent, very funny

Bowfinger was pretty funny

I saw Les Invasions Barbares last week. I sort of enjoyed it but have to admit that I didn't quite get it.
I also saw Hero. I loved it and think it's amazing visually. However, my mate says it's a load of pants. So, take your pick!
The Cat's Meow is good, can't quite get my head around Eddie Izard acting for some reason but the music and clothes are great. I read a bit about the yacht "scandel" in David Niven's autobiography so it was cool to see a film about it and "the making" of Louella Parsons!?!
