That's lazy English (sorry whoever uses it, but it's true).  For example, when "would have" is contracted to "would've" it's pronounced "would of."  So some people type "would of" instead.  Does that clear it up?

find is the main verb. I think the "of" is just a confusion. A common one, but still. When you contract have, it sounds the same as of.
So, "might have" -> "might've" -> ("might of"). I don't think any
grammar books would advise it, but as you've observed, it happens. []

Dear Hobbitlady thank you so much for this thread.....it is too funny.....I have to appologixe for my poor english language.  I tend to type so fast that I do not really think about what I am writing....So here is the scoop for everyone.....Friday night Jamie had on black,,,,but not Calvins...some other C name I did not recognize, but I do not know the names of all the brands in Europe of course.  Then Sunday night we were down to a pair of Calvins....black again.  The visual with that lovely tan of his was more than my heart could take....forget baking the cookies....which thanks to Brinky I know now was not sexual.....but the sight of all that was as yummy as some cookies.  Which he might just get anyway and I could dare him to eat them with me.  Now why did he think he could not tell me that it meant rolling and smoking something...????

Now skippies.....I have thrown that at you....that is my own term for young...20something men's underwear... the kind that make them look so cute.....
