Anyone who has the slightest doubt, or feels at all awkward or like they might be out of place waiting to have a moment with Jamie, I wish I could make you cut it out. Just stop it! We're fans. Age has nothing to do with it. And Jamie appreciates his fans - ALL of us.

Good! Cause sometimes I feel more like a pround auntie than a fainting fangirl. Although, the people at work might disagree considering the scene I made in the lab the other day. ph34r.gif What? Jamie never gets radio-play here anymore. I heard "Photograph" on one of the college stations and went into complete hysterics.

To be honest... until I had my first step in this forum I thought of 19 years olds as KIDS. I know I was totally shocked, when a really good friend (we took a lot of courses together at university, and have been in the same political groups and filmclubs and ate nearly each day together) told me, he had a new girlfriend at that age. We were only 24 when he told me that, but at that time I thought "what the hell does he want with a kid?". It's not really the age difference, it's rather the huge difference in life experience. But since I talk here with people of all ages I take teenagers way more serious and think it really depends on the individual case.

I had my shocked moment concerning age last month. A student asked me, if I could give him some advice, when he wanted to have a career at university. He said to me "You achieved already so much, although you're not much older than me"... I was a bit flattered but tried some understatement saying... "oh, I'm not that young anymore, I'm already 32"... then he looked like this ohmy.gif and said "wow, THAT old already... at least you don't look like it" blink.gif blink.gif

The problem is you're deleting the opening quote tags. When deleting the parts of the quotes you don't want to reply to, you have to make sure you're leaving in as many opening tags (with the username/date/etc in) as you are leaving closing ones (with the /s in them) smile.gif
