Hi! I'm from Argentina happy.gif
It depends on which cities this person is going to visit. Please, let us know so we can be more helpful smile.gif

This site: http://www.welcomeargentina.com/ has a lot of info regarding places to visit, to sleep, to eat in different cities / regions of the country.

If he/she is coming to Buenos Aires: http://www.welcomeargentina.com/ciudadbuen...es/index_i.html

My beloved forumites! Thanks to one incredible guy and one incredible girl on facebook:
Sergio Schuchinsky(London) Director of the page Arein (Argentinos en Inglaterra) and to Valeria Perasso (Argentina) Art & Entertainment. We are able to know the date of a great programme which it will be released at

25 Jan 2009 21:00 BBC Two (except Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland (Analogue))
25 Jan 2009 22:00 BBC Two (Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland (Analogue) only) called:

Patagonia to the Pampas

"In the first of a new series, Simon Reeve leads a team of presenters on a journey through the spectacular landscapes of Argentina, from the vast ice fields of Patagonia to the wide open plains of the Pampas.
In the south a group of indigenous people are locked in an historic dispute with the area's biggest land owners, Italian clothing giants Benetton; in Buenos Aires the children of the disappeared are seeking to find out the truth of what happened to their parents at the hands of Argentina's generals; and in the Pampas we meet one of the last true Gauchos, whose way of life is being destroyed by an argricultural revolution.
And on the way we take in one of the greatest matches in world football, visit a penguin colony on the edge and a Bishop with a rather unorthodox interest in Evita."

I really hope you all can watch this show and discover a great country which is well deserved to be known worldwide.

Many kisses to all of you!
