Today I've had lectures on politics in popular music and Beethoven's orchestration style, then went to a lunchtime concert to watch a couple of friends. Right now I'm mostly getting incredibly overexcited about the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, and later on I'm going to Cafe Jazz. A good day biggrin.gif

Today we went for a walk along the sea front in Sandbanks then had a meal
yesterday we were going to see Whitiney a THE 02 but because of all the negative press we decided not to go.We went over the Purbecks and went for a walk and had a meal by Corfe Castle.We sit ouside to eat

I'm going back to Cardiff from the Jazz Festival with a grin on my face like the Cheshire Cat biggrin.gif and when I get there I have to write 2000 words on Bach cantata no.4...oh joy - back to reality!

Back to reality with a bang for me also.... sad.gif after such an OUTSTANDING show last night.

Today I am clearing up heaps of dust created by plastering work that my partner has been doing whilst I've been away. sad.gif

Tided up my room, drove to the supermarket, got petrol, then caught up on some things i'd recorded on Sky Plus.

Made a half hearted attempt to clean the car (well I cleaned the mirrors and windows).

ohmy.gif Well my bedroom looks like that pretty often, everytime I have to do some clothing design proyect, bags and bags full of fabrics and textile samples in every colour and shape tongue.gif

My friend bought me a manicure for my birthday, so went to have it done. (Has anyone ever tried driving after a manicure..it is interesting!)

Lol Yes, I used to do them at College, (Beauty Therapy Course) Did you get the arm massage too? or do they miss that bit out these days? tongue.gif

Off to see Kyle Eastwood perform at the Bristol Colston Hall ...well that's the more intimate "Hall 2" as, sadly, he wouldnt fill the hall Jamie performed at two weeks ago....

I'm expecting an evening of film music from Gran Torino, Grace is Gone and other Clint films that Kyle has composed for, as well as Kyle's own brand of funky jazz ...
