extremely energetic, fresh and innovative raw talent, this trio was incredible...you wanted to get really into it and dance and/or clap at the very least but the beautiful but uptight venue felt too stuffy to show too much enthusiasm....i was truly blown away...mr. cullum's vocals and piano were even better live than pre-recorded (love it when that happens), he played music from 'pointless nostalgic' but mostly newer songs from his latest cd release - 'twenty something', i can't say there was a song i didn't enjoy, his version of the wind crys mary by hendrix is an absolute must! - from
