28th August 2004 - Faenol Festival, North Wales - UK

2005-09-24

from Rhian Haf

This was the greatest start to a gig - Jamie Cullum coming on stage to open the Faenol Festival 2004, speaking Welsh! He came on stage and said "Noswaith Dda. Mai'n oer", which means 'Good evening. It's cold', and made me proud that someone would learn a bit of welsh just to say a few words on stage in Wales! I was chuffed! Jamie started the great evening with "I Get a Kick Out Of You", and sang many of his great songs. I really enjoyed when he came on to play piano for Jools Holland that night. I had a great birthday present-coming to see you Jamie! Thanks for giving me the greatest gift of all!Diolch!
