Well... what can I say?? phenomenal or what? This is the 2nd time I've seen Mr Cullum and his team and wow how they've come on. The packed auditorium came to life about 8.45pm when this dinky dude walked on stage with the classic Hendrix track 'Wind Cries Mary' Cullum demonstrating his great percussive style of piano playing (Mr Steinway would cry never mind Mary!!) and that was it for 2 hours... blistering performances from the whole band covering songs from all 3 albums, fab horns, funky Geoff and super Seb - awesome! We were also treated to great on-stage graphics, adding extra depth to these really great songs. Towards the end Geoff & Jamie jumped into the audience (bass in hand!) with an impromptu improvisation from the pair - what bloody musical chemistry!! We got into debt to go to this concert and even with crap seats - it was fantastic - worth every penny of interest on my credit card (and more) - would I go again? Try and stop me!!!!

An amazing night! Jamie was onstage for over two hours and gave us a pacey show with an intimacy that belied the size of the venue. Never pass up a chance to see this man live.

What a fantastic concert! It is the first time I have seen Jamie live but it certainly won't be the last. As Jamie said the acoustics were wonderful in the newly refurbished City Hall. Jamie played some old songs and some new all of which were fantastic. All the musicians were brilliant, including the support band. Jamie was unbelievable - where do you get your energy from? What a lovely person you are too. Please come back soon. Thanks for a great night out. Laraine

You have only have to see the range of ages at Jamie's gigs to understand his appeal. His connection to his audience is total. You can't really pick out a high point, the whole evening was a complete high , including the suport band. Many thanks Jamie for the best value I've had all year, by a mile.

I have been a Jamie Cullum fan for a while now, owning all three albums and desperatly searching for his first ever album. I absoloutley adore and love the albums, but they dont even capture any of the magic behind a live performance. Having got a DVD I see Jamie stand on the piano and all night was just praying he would do that. During the encore he made my night. Everything was top, I loved interaction and could feel the energy radiating from the stage and the gig had a amazing atmoshpere. I would and defintly am going to see him live again. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life, to watch, hear and feel the Jazz. Everysong captured me in a diffrent way, from the Wind Cries Mary, with the amazing musical, or Twenty First Century kid sending thought after thought through my mind. I LOVED every song and must say my favourtie three where the ones taken from Twentysomething at the end, playing Frontin with just the double Bass, to a amazing cover of High and Dry and the highlight of the evening I could have dance all night. My hands where red raw from clapping from what a amazing talent Jamie Cullum is along with a amazing band of Seb, Geoff and the rest of the gang. Jamie Cullum must be seen in real life to feel the jazz! Thank you for the night of my life!

I adored the concert so very much, I had looked forward to it for such along time and it met all my advanced expectation! Jamie and band where simply fabulous...playing so many of my favourites. Cannot wait for the ringtone to come to my phone of 'Mindtrick'....my favourite off the album. Jamie's humour, personality and talent shone throughout his performance...just perfect. Carol R xxx

What a difference a gig makes! Fantastic from start to finish. The whole evening left us feeling inspired after seeing perform what has to be a legend in the making. The band are exceptional and the animations fitted the music perfectly. Jamies true craftmanship was displayed when he started a number using the loop box, never seen anything so creative at a live performence before and it worked fantastically. Thanks for a brilliant gig Jamie, come back soon P&S

Two words - The Best. Of course it was. Jamie is one of the greatest British talents at the moment and fully deserves all the recognition he's getting. For the full 2 hours he kept us all completely rapt with his amazing talent and style. All his best songs were there (are there any that aren't his best?) and the finale made our night - we certainly could have danced all night!! Having seen him live at Doncaster Dome last year (he didn't play ICHDAN for our 6 year old son and backstage when we met him he saw our son crying and he treated us all to a private performane of it with Seb on piano!) Another amazing performance, we can't wait for the next concert around here coz we'll definately be there. Jamie - keep up the good work and keep the music coming, you are a truly pleasant, talented person.

I must admit I have loved Jamie Cullum ever since i saw him on Parkinson all those years ago...when i heard him on that show i rang my best friend immediately, she too thought he was amzing. It was this friend who a few years later decided to buy me tickets to see him.Not only did he put on an amazing intimate performance but when he jumped down into the audience and beckoned the audience to come sit by him, i ended up sat right next to him in awe of his fantasic talent. This on by far the best gig i have been to, strange how intimate the gig was considering the large venue. I think that the love Jamies fans have for him was highlighted by the number of people that waited out in the cold for hours for him to come out and sign whatever we thrust at him. A performance to remember from talent that should be around for a long time.
