I was there yesterday evening. and I wouldn't have missed for all the money in the world. it was just fantastic... really great. especially the part where he sang 'photograph' but instead of photograph he said 'foto'. but the most wonderful moment of the whole gig was the part where he went in to the audience and sang that 'there was a boy, a very strange enchanted boy...' gosh so wonderful. the funny thing is that I went even though today I have an exam... That's how good Jamie is...

Great fun! I am amazed how different two concerts can be with only some weeks in between. I went to Cologneís concert, and Jamie created a concert with so much connection to each of us. I thought something like that would be impossible in a place like Forest National, in Brussels. And it was far away of being similar, it was a unique concert! Great for jamming with a Legend! Great for the craziness with the piano's strings! Great visual arts! Great for singing between us! Jamie CDs are something special, but you really will appreciate him and his troop completely by seeing them on stage. Thanks for giving here in Brussels your last 2005 concert. And I look forward for more Jamie in 2006!

Hello I was allready a fan but since yesterday I have absolutly become a great fan. The concert was really fantastic, it was an ideal mix of modern jazz and classic jazz. The duet with Toots Thielemans was one of the highlights of the evening. For me personelly this was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I think it is absolutly wonderfull that a young guy like Jamie can make such music. His song from the moulin rouge in the middle of the public was very well braught. I hope to see mr. Cullum very soon back in Belgium on stage. I think his succes here can only increase after what I have seen yesterday.

Iíve been hoping and dreaming for ëBeady Belleí as support act to Jamieís gig in Brussels and what do I get? A homeboy from Gent: Gabriel Rios! Thanks Jamie for giving this man the huge benefit of warming up Forest National. What can I add after all the reviews Iíve read on this site. All my predecessors used up the superlatives, rightly of course. Last year's gig in this cosy little venue AB in Brussels left me enthralled and I wondered how Jamie would be in a really big venue? Well it topped last yearís gig so much - I'm at a loss for words! One thing I learned: Jamie plays lots of instruments, but he plays the audience best of all ... Near the end of the evening he just jumped off stage and the crowd divided like the Red Sea, and when he ordered them all to sit down, they obeyed like schoolchildren. So in the midst of that circle he sang 'Nature Boy' accompanied by some bodyslapping & fingersnapping. Even though he had displayed the odd coughs during the gig, it's amazing what a great voice he developed over the years. Quite fascinating... The audience enjoyed it, but even at the last gig of this yearís ëCatching Talesí tour Iím certain that Jamie enjoyed it even more. Heís not the kind of performer who plays his repertoire right to the last note similar to his recordings. On the contrary: heís unpredictable, fickle, charming, a joker and a great storyteller. Every gig is different and I wish, hope and save up some money to see him early next year in the UK. The next day I still feel bewitched, bedazzled and bewildered Oh and letís not forget: Jamie was joined by Belgian jazz legend Toots Thielemans for 2 songs (What a difference a day makes - Let it snow!)! hilde.

My english is not so well,I explain in french, it's better !

THANK YOU Jamie & Band for a fabulous gig in Brussels last Sunday! WOW WOW WOW!!! It's all been said before in other reviews, but I have to write something because what I experienced was truely special. I could be your Mum (just!)and I love all kinds of music, have been to numerous great concerts in the past 20 years, but Sunday was different. This was TOP quality entertainment, hardly to be compared with anything else I have seen before. Loved your enthusiasm (some call this hyper activity?!) it sure is catchy. Loved every song from start to finish. And the many surprises too. It's the mix of styles that attracts me most of all I guess - so: keep on doing what you do, and follow your own heart. That's the only way! Highlights of this particular gig? Surely the outstanding duet (What a difference a day makes) with our very own Toots Tielemans, the legendary jazz phenomenon - that blew everyone away, including yourself! Absolutely adored Photograph too, since I'm an amateur photographer myself, but mostly because it's a sublime song. London Skies is pretty fantastic too...Great to hear a few chords of Coldplay's Trouble too (now their gig in October was unforgettable as well!) Thanks again for a special intimate night. I feel so spoilt having experienced you. An experience I could recommend to everyone. I could have danced all night!!! Please come back soon with more of your Fascinating Rhythms. With love, Hilde

Thanks Jamie for a wonderfull evening in Belgium. We'll never forget this moment. I think you've heard how good we found it. The special version (with 'our' Toots) of 'What a difference a day made' en 'Let it snow' was phenomenal. Also the track a capella in the middle of the audience was a 'goosebumps-moment'. I'm even a bigger fan than before, so keep on playing and keep on coming to Belgium.

Hey everybody, The gig in Brussells was absolutely amazing, it was brilliant. Thank god it was not sold out, it was really cozy, Jamie got the entire crowd going. I really loved the part, just before the gig had end, where Jamie got of the stage in between the crowd, got to the center, asked everybody to sit down and started singing "Nature boy" (used in the movie Moulin Rouge)(And he sang a little bit of it without a microphone, everybody was that quiet). If you ever get a chance to visit one of Jamie's concerts, GO!!!!!!!, don't miss out, you really don't know what you're missing, it's absolutely brilliant. Best wishes, Bjorn S. The Netherlands P.S: Merry Christmas and a happy 2006 to all of you.

Absolutely astonishing! I haven't known Jamie's music for a long time yet, so I didn't know what to expect from his concert. This concert was so different from any other I've ever seen. How great it was to see this amazing talent, performing in front of his public as if he had known us all personally, giving himself for the full 300%! Not afraid of the public, on the contrary, just being so much himself, and actually truly enjoying being there. For me Jamie is one of the few that actually adores music and adores sharing his music with others, rather than wanting to be popular! And the song you performed in the middle of the concert hall, with everybody kneeling down (and me and my friend too at only one meter away!) was so thrilling, that I will always remember this. Keep up the great music!

Before the gig, me and my best friend had to wait for hours outside which was litteraly freezing, but I have to say it was worth it! We ran into the concert hall so we were on the front row, right in front of the man himself :) He played so many beautiful songs including all his greatsest hits like mind trick and everlasting love. I was extremely inmpressed with his singing and his his piano playing which was breathtaking... At a certain point he sang Nature Boy standing in the audience, everybody had to sit down on the ground. This had never been seen before in Forest National. I was extremely impressed with Jamie, but my mum was as well which was surprising to her. I can honestly say that this was one of the best gigs I have ever seen, if not the best!!! It was also my birthday so this was the best birthday ever!!! Thank you so much (also thanks mum for the tickets ;)) Greetzzzz Kimberley, See ya next time ;)
