Energised, earthy, real and capable of getting the whole Hall up on its feet and grooving in 5 minutes....and that was just Nizlopi! So glad that the boys from Leamington were there; with their socks and hoodies, double bass and guitar, they stole the show for me. It's a shame that our twenty-something boy has perhaps let fame go to his head with £££ projector screens, samples, massive light rigs etc. What he does best is impro - just him, a double bass and kit. Jamie - don't become a stadium sensation! Keep it real.

Excellent! You don't see many musicians with this sort of talent and energy. The tickets to this gig were the best birthday present ever! Can't wait to go to the next one! Come back to Wales Jamie!!!

Get a life Mr Tom. Nizlopi were great - I've bought their cd since and love it, but Jamie was amazing. I've listed to Jamie's records for years but never seen him live - now all I want to do is see Jamie live. He was energetic, passionate, inventive and skilful. At times he connected with the audience so completely even I could feel it from my god awful seats high above the stage. At other times he absorbed himself in the music and just let you watch, until you forgot yourself and had to fight hard not to shout out ëI love you Jamieí in the quiet bits, like other girls half your age. Come back to Cardiff soon Jamie, next time Iíll be in the front, not in tier 8 at the end of a row, next to a wall, with the only way out being passed a lot of older people, with no rhythm, who have to be assisted to stand by the people next to them when you want to rush the stage!
