The Milano show was really great! Heterogenous audience, intimate place and a show, oh god!, what an amazing show! great musicians, and the verve of Jamie made us spend a fabulous night. Everybody was singing, moving their heads and feet, and I had the palpable feeling that we were enjoying the sound along with the band. Jamie let us partecipate his music, making the audience sing two different chorus along with his improvisation. I have never laugh so much, for his funny intro, for his energy on the stage, and, of course!, his virtuous drummer who playes every single peace of forniture near the stage (pipes of stairs-handrail, too). geoff gascoyne played a wonderful solo with jamie, on a song, that I recon from my fav movie Moulin Rouge (the Toulouse "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be love loved in return") and Jamie sang it down the stage, among us, without microphone... well, I must say I'll do never forget this gig! Thank you Jamie, I had a really great time! a big kiss erika

I have to say this was the best gig I have ever seen! and I've seen a lot of gigs.............I fell in love with Jamie Cullum's music a while ago and have had it playing in every stereo and shape and form for months now, and so I had greatly anticipated last night's show. He played all my favourites from "twenty something", plus new songs from "catching tales" and then a little extra here and there (improvising songs like "golddigger" and "amazing grace".......beautiful. Jamie seriously knows how to play MUSIC...he used his piano as if it were percussions!!!). His drummer played a solo which was theatrical to say the least! he was following Jamie up stairs and round the stage playing his drum sticks on anything he could find...absolutely stunning..concluding with a symbol on his head like a chinaman...! Jamie and the band gave priceless moments where they played songs that sounded like they were from the Nottinghill Carnival or the carnival in Rio!. Then Jamie and his Bass Player, Mr. Gascoigne, played an acoustic song and Jamie, still singing (!unbelievable!) walked into the audience without microphones and shot right past me to the back of the audience where he watched his bass player play for a while........ these are just a few of the highlights of the show which I can't descibe enough in words...only.....THANK YOU JAMIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see you play live again. thank you thank you thank you...........grazie tesoro! you're my favourite. no question!
