I saw a great concert yesterday in Vega (Copenhagen) with Jamie and band - and WOW, what a great concert. Both I saw a great concert yesterday in Vega (Copenhagen) with Jamie and band - and WOW, what a great concert. Both Jamie and the band were fantastic. I like the fact that the musicians, including Jamie, swop instruments every once in a while. Jamie played the Piano (of course), the stand-up acoustic bass, and the acoustic guitar - fantastic. I don't understand where Jamie gets the energy from, but no matter what he does, it's swinging. The highlight of the concert, in my opinion, was the time where he made the audience (full Vega - 1500 people?) act as the choir. From where I stood it just sounded beautifully. FANTASTIC CONCERT! I hope Jamie and band enjoyed as much as the audience did!!!!!!!!

I'm in awe. Never have I been entertained so much in my life. Jamie Cullum has so much energy when he's on stage. He captured the crowd from the beginning and he could make us do whatever he wanted for the 2 hours and 10 minutes he played(he didn't even get a break, poor thing). At one point we were in Rio at the carneval with Jamie banging on a drum, next we were in this low key jazz club where Seb did a solo on the drums...and practically everything else at hands reach. Fascinating. There is no doubt about that Jamie loved being there and the audience loved every single minute of the concert. That guy is talented in so many ways. He had even learnt the basic polite phrases in Danish. All in all it was a perfect evening and it didn't make it any worse to say hello to him afterwards. Such a great guy.

What a truly unique fusion of everything COOL! The gig was nothing less than two hours of pure pleasure. I was able to enjoy the concert only a few feet away from the grand piano and the virtuoso himself, and I can honestly say that Cullum is like nothing I have ever seen or heard before. The level of energy and variety in his performance is simply fascinating, never mind the brilliance of his playing and his incredible voice. A personal highlight was Jamieís rendition of the classic I Get A Kick Out of You ñ the jazz vibe just doesnít get any better than that! And who could forget the duet with Beate from the amazing Beady Belle or Sebís remarkable drum solo? It was definitely a gig to remember...!
