Show was amazing!! Took my girlfriend for our first live experience of Jamie, and he was right, the Palace of Fine Arts was perfect for him that night. He brought a crew up on stage to sing back up vocals for "High and Dry" and an intimate rendition of "Lover You Should have Come Over". Couldnt get him off stage, and couldnt get us to want to leave either. Come back to SF and time you like, Jamie. We loved having you

This is the third time I've seen Jamie and it was definately the finest performance. I commented to my friend during the first number how excellent the accoustics were in the hall, this Jamie confirmed over and over during the evenings perfomance. Jamie and the band did a lot improvisation and were literally jazzed by the sold out audiences response and the awesome accoustics. Jamie has obviously become a seasoned performer and his intimate patter with the audience is endearing. Thanks Jamie for bringing your fine craft to San Francisco and I'll see you again in Oakland this June.

They say the Palace of Fine Arts has the best accoustics of any hall in the Bay Area and after Jamie Cullum played there last saturday I'd have to agree. Three years I've been wanting to so see this fellow brit but it was worth the wait. From the getgo he was overflowing with energy, enthusiasm and exuberance. You could tell he was loving the accoustics too. His rendition of "I left My Heart in San Francisco" blew Tony Bennett away. It's just a real shame we're not going to get to hear Jamie doing "Singing in the rain" any more - Barry Manilow has alot to answer for!!! Highlight of the night? Too many to consider just one - 100 people up on stage sitting cross legged in front Jamie's piano while he played away. Felt like being back primary 2 in school again... Radioheads "High and Dry"... "Nothin I Do" or that bizzarre drum solo. As they say on the Fast Show "JazzClub"... "Nnnnnnnicccceeeeee" Cant wait till Oakland now.

This is one of the best concerts I have seen and I've seen a few as I'm probably one of Jamie's "elder" fans. His energy is amazing, his rapport with the audience charming (even inviting us up on stage!), and his talent is unending (piano, vocals, guitar, percussion). I'm taking my 9 year-old-piano-lesson-taking daughter to the Oakland show for some inspiration. I just hope she doesn't decide to copy Mr. Cullum and jump off our piano. See Jaime now while he's playing these small venues! Jamie, please come play in Sacramento.
