Jamie's performance was nothing short of brilliance covered in energetic style, while, supporting band mates stood the same ground with equal talent and charm. It's great to see such musicianship outshine even the greatest of designer entourages most groups lug around the globe. The Harbourfront Center in Toronto is the ideal location to support an intimate soiree between band and band of listeners. I was the accidental audience member. I did not plan on attending the show intentionally. My ticket fell into my lap because a friend's wife was forced to a last minute cancellation. I had known of Jamie from word of mouth only, but never knew the evening would lead me to posting a review on someone I still know little about. Jamie's natural ability to entertain his fans proves he was made to be an entertainer. He's very natural and organic..the best kind. If a friend comes up to you and says I have an extra ticket, don't be a fool, grab it and ready for great night to remember. If no such luck, then keep your eyes open for the nearest show date and buy yourself a ticket. It's money well spent. Keep up the great work JC!

My wife and I drove from 4 hours North of Toronto to see Jamie Cullum and it was worth every penny(plus vacation two days). Jamie and his band were fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to see him again. I look forward to listening to Jamie's music for decades to come, and he will around for the long haul. If his future tunes are half of what he's recorded to date he'll go down in the history books. If you get the chance to see him....DO IT! You'll be glad that you did.

Brilliant show! He performed with alot of passion. It was great to see him in a small venue but he is so big that he needs to play at larger ones. I can't wait until he returns to Toronto.

Absolutely amazing. In a week of incredible British talent playing gigs all over Toronto, I was fortunate enough to catch Jamie on the 21st. Lets just say, I was around on Monday to see Oasis, and it is my girlfriend that is the true JC fan. However, being extremely impressed by his last Toronto show in 2004, and also by his DVDs, CDs, etc...I didn't hesitate to get tickets for my girlfriend, her sister and myself. It was without a doubt, one of the best live performances I've seen. Highlights included: percussion at the end of London Skies, all the new tunes from Catching Tales, Sebastiaan de Krom's freestyle drumming solo, and the part where Jamie and the saxophone player walked through the crowd and did a tune. If anyone knows of the setlist from the gig, I'd love to see it! Can't wait till you're next Toronto show. Thanks for a great night.

We have to agree with the other reviewers comments. This was undoubtedly the best live music performance that we have ever seen. Thank you to Jamie & band for reminding us just what good music is all about - being yourself, going where the music leads you and being soulful about music. We are still buzzing a year on when we think about that evening. Jamie, don't loose your groove & keep with the intimate performances. So refreshing, so enlivening.

I could go into detail for thousands of words detailing how great a show this was. Instead, I'm going to make it very simple: BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! Thanks for the fun guys! I cannot wait for you to come back to Canada!

This concert took place a few days before my 26th birthday and being that I'm such a fan of Jamie Cullum I told my husband that tickets to this show is what I would like. Of course the Harbourfront Centre is quite small and tickets sold out before my man could secure the elusive tickets. In Toronto, there are always scalpers selling tickets to any event so we went anyways hoping to get some at the event. NO SCALPERS!!! And no one would sell us their tickets dispite my husbands pleas. We stood outside in the terrible wind and cold for over 2 hours hoping for a ticket miracle. The show had just started and we were ready to give up and drive home when a staff person came out for a smoke break. We chatted her up and she mentioned that Jamie had a row reserved for friends and a few seats were still empty. She went in and asked Jamie if he would release them, and he did!! Thanks sooo much. The show was awesome as usual and being such an intimate venue it had a living room feel. Jamie walked up the isles and into the small balconies. I love when he goes to town drumming on anything he can touch. Its been a while since we've had a show in Ontario, Canada. When's the next one???
