Incredible music and an incredible show. Highlights include Jamie reaching into his piano to play it like a harp, and moments later playing the keys but reaching in to dampen the hammers creating a unique sound. A rendition of wind cries mary (jamie) in which he screams mary into the mike from increasingly greather distances. A wonderful cover of rocket man. He played a yet to be released song on guitar called liar liar. His drummer wondered around stage playing a beat on everything from mikes to the piano strings. Frickin awesome. I can't wait to see him again.

Still buzzing...Jamie's energy is contagious...couldn't sleep after the concert..kept feeling the urge to jump off my bed! Powerful performances by both Jamie and Brandi. The Rocket Man duet was hot! Jamie and his band served up a generous show of wit and originality at the speed of sound. Energy personified..most excellent show! Thanks to Jamie and Co. for treating Cleveland right!

Let me start off by saying that this is the first Jamie show and first time i have been to the venue of House Of Blues. I knew i was gonna have a great time, but that is just an understatement. Jamie, along with the H.O.B. made it unbelievable. i forgot to write down the complete setlist, so i forget what he opened with. It may have been Twentysomething, but i do remember from the get go, the show was full of charm, wit, electric energy and all around great musicianship between the band. I mentioned to my girlfriend during the show that he was born with funk in his soul. His natural walk, dance, speech and talent exudes hip funk. His stage presence is a force to be reckoned with. Early into the show after Get your way, (which had a pre-recorded horn enssamble) he busted out Photograph. We got our first jazz improv in the middle of this song, smooth and sweet keys. After this, Jamie bloodied his fingures tapping the grand piano with his hands in the way he does before " I could have danced". i was waiting for him to start bomp, bomp, badda da dat da bomp, but nope, he went into a snippet of "i got a girl" or women?( not sure who by) and into the chorus of "Golddigger by Kayne West, eventually leading into Frontin. After a few songs(what a fifference a day makes i remember) Jamie strapped on a guitar. which completley suprised me. A new song "Liar Like you" or "Liar Liar" was played with only Jamie. then the band re-emerged and "London Skies" got everyone moving again. I personally love this song. One of those songs when you first hear it, you feel like you have heard it before. Jamie grabbed a pair of drum sticks and a big drum was brought out for him to bang on for an all out tribal jazz jam session that lasted for awhile during this song. The jam totally took over every ones bodies and made the audience dance, jump, and do every other convulsating act our bodies wanted to do, because tonight we expirienced Jamie Cullum, and we danced like no one was watching. Although that was a highlight, the best was coming up. He mentioned how he wrote this song while drinking with John Heard i think. I immediatly knew it was "Back to the Ground", the one song I was definatly needing to see live. And let me tell you, all around wonderful song, live or on disc. He then gave praise to Jeff Buckely for being one of the best singer/songwriters ever(agreed) and did "Lover, you should've come over." Brandi Carlilse was brought onto stage for a first time rendition of "Rocketman". Sounded like it belonged to the both of them. When it was her turn to do the final verse, she lifted her voice perfectly timed to Jamies piano. Then i think "all out at sea" was played and the band left while " High and dry " was mostley played solo, i can't remember, but he went off into an improv i should know, but sorry, i forget and he did a full circle while the band creeped on stage and helped end "high and Dry" on a loud soulful note. "I get a kick out of You" kept people wanting more. After Jamie proclaimed the name of the House Of Blues was now gonna be changed to the House Of Jazz, a soulful improv(wind cries mary in there somewhere) with the Dutch drummer banging on every object on stage was followed up with "I Could Have Danced All Night" got the whole house to bump along. All around great, no, there are no words for how wonderful this show was. Dissappointed that no concert t-shirts were available, but still no complaints. Well after this show filled up my soul, i am still riding high b/c i also scored Pearl Jam in Cleveland and Ben Harper in Michigan tickets today.

Great concert! I think most of the audience was exhausted by the end. Jamie, you have so much energy it just flew off the stage. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the show, Brandi too. Thanks

Thursday was up until this point, the most exciting day of my life. I met jamie, took pics, and got autographs at his performance at Beachwood Mall, which by the by was AMAZING! I have been waiting to see him for almost 2 years and he was everything and more. The House of Blues was more packed than at John Mayer, as it should be. I've never seen such constant energy like I did at that concert. I wonder though, being a singer how he can sing for that long, all by himself and not need a break or a water.....must've been the Guinness! Shannon, CLeveland
