Well, not a 'proper' gig, it was just on the radio, but boy, was it good. It amazes me that even when you are not at the place where the gig is taking place, the energy comes across so well, even without the stunning visuals that come with every gig (i.e. Jamie's piano-percussion and the boys losing themselves in their music). Most songs were from Twentysomething and it was a true and utter joy to sit behind the computer tapping and bopping along to the wonderful sounds of the trio. Highlight was 'Wind cries Mary', because that song just rocks and everytime I hear it performed live, I can't help but think that Hendrix is somewhere in the room, beaming with pride. Only downside: it was too short...
