What an excellent way to open up the Jazz Festival at Mexico City!!!! My best friend and I bought our tickets as soon as we found out he was coming. The show was amazing from the very start, his connection with the public and his spontaneity were the things I'd probably remember the most. The whole crowd enjoyed the 2-hour long concert and we were hoping to get even more. Probably the best gig I've been to, since like... ever!!! Thank you for coming to Mexico; we'll be waiting to see you some other time. Kuki

I'll never forget last night. It was one of the greatest nights I've ever had. Jamie is pure energy. The blend of singing, playing the piano, dancing, talking to the audience made it a matchless concert. From the first to the last song he gave his best. My favorite songs? "Twentysomething", "Get your way", "High and Dry" and "Mind Trick" ñfor me, the best of the night-. Jamie is such a great singer. No question about it. I'm so happy I had the opportunity to be there. Jamie, youíre the best!

Great place the Metropolitan teather, great artists on stage, Jamie and his band did a great show last night, full of energy. Second time I see this show in the last two months (last time in Atlanta)and i must admit that I never get tired, i would watch it again. And the most fun of all was i was wearing a black jamiecullum t-shirt that i had bought on atlanta and all people were asking me because there wasnt jamie cullum merchandise on sale there. (mmm, I could have "sell" all night hehehe).

Simply impressive. I had never been in a jazz concert with so much energy while keeping all those feelings only jazz can produce. There were a couple of nice things i didn't expected. What else can i say, it was an incredible night.

When a friend told me Jamie was coming to Mexico City, I couldn't believe it, i thought he never would. I went to buy tickets and got really dissapointed that i got tickets in the 8th row. Anyways, i went with my dad and we were really excited. The concert started, everything was great, and i got SO jealous that some girls got close to the stage and gave him things (i should have thought of that!!!!) and got a kiss. halfway through the concert jamie decided to come down but from the opposite side and my dad said..we sould have gotten tickets in the other side!!! i couldn't believe my bad luck...but to my surprise he walked towards our places...yes...he kept walking and then stopped...RIGHT NEXT TO MEEEEE!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! i just paused and sat there lookig at him. My dad poked me and said what's wrong with you?? I got up (he tried to pull me back down) walked up to him, grabbed his face, and kissed him, and he kissed me back and gave me a nice little hug... He made my day. Jamie if you ever read these things I'm sorry i grabbed you so hard but i couldn't help myself! lol. It turned out we had the BEST seats in the house and i couldn't be happier he came to our city. I can't wait to see him again.

now here is a looong story.....it all started when a friend of mine..(Karen) told me she had discoverd a very cute guy (Jamie) that played Jazz.....she bought the first 2 CDs and a DVD!!! Then one day i was at her house, she told me that i was going to fall in love with Jamie.....AND I DID!!! i loved the way he sang and the great VIBE he has on stage and off stage!!!.....that was years ago.....the the 3rd CD came out!! obviously told karen...and went to buy it!......later on.......i was in my car listening to 108.0 FM(Horizonte) and heard something about Jamie.....but i didn¥t belive it! So then, can¥t remembre what day exactly.....but i was reading the newspaper and suddenly saw somethnig about Jamie comig to Mexico.....i got really excited and called Karen!! Later on.....i went to mixup (alone with no money on me) and asked for the places at the front that were still available.....there were not too many seats, so i told the woman that i will come back tomorrow....and so i did!!......the thing was that the seat i wanted were al ready taken!! :( so i took other seats......i still think they were great seats! A month ans a half later.....Jamie was in Mexico!!! my friends and i took off early.....because of traffic......and arrived there 1 hr 45 min before the gig! the gig started....and i was shaking!! my heart beating really fast......then that great musician camed out (Raul Midon)...i was impressed...amazed on his capacity to play!!! but later on camed Jamie.....the audience screaming and prasing jamie!! hahaha......yeah i got really jealous of all the girls kissin¥ him!! I THINK IT WAS THE BEST GIG OF ALL MY LIFE!!! AND I CAN¥T WAIT FOR THE NEXT GIG IN MEX!!!! i saw the interview that Eugenia Leon did to Jamie........it was also great!!! JAMIE IS GREAT!!! I LOVE HIM!!! SEE YOU SOON!!! XOXOX

Fantastic show!! The combination of great classic pieces with some new pop/rock hits, performed with such energy and personal touch was something that Mexico City will remember for ever. Jamie played all the songs like a complete master. He made us sin along, laugh, cry, dance, and some even replied positevely when Jamie asked if they had ever been in love with an elder woman prior to singin Blame It On My Youth. The audience was completely bewitched since the beginning of the gig when Jamie appeared on scene and in the middle of Twentysomething the audio went off, and instead of pissing off he took a few minutes to introduce himself, welcome everyone and tell us what was the show going to be about showin' how much of a down to earth guy he is. Also I have to say the band accompaning Cullum was terribly skilled as well. Specially proved when the played off stage I Get A Kick Out Of You. It was a night of nice surprises such as Jamie's version of Seven Nation Army, his guitar skills he proved in London Skies, his scrathching skills, and also his Mexican Football team jersey. Still probably the nicest surprise was Raul Midon who opened the concert and sang along with Jamie in Devil May Care. Definetively one of the best concerts I've ever been, but the best Jazz one.
