I hear around 800 tickets were sold at the Britt event, and volunteers claimed before the show that they expected a quiet night. This show turned out to be one of the most energetic and exciting I've ever attended, and I grew up in Jacksonville and have seen a lot of Britt concerts. My friends and I felt lonely sitting as the second party in line all day when no one joined behind us until just a few hours before the show, but everyone enjoyed the show so much that 800 screaming fans sounded like a full house (is 'house' appropriate?)--that may just be because I was in front and surrounded by the loudest screamers, but everyone was still really excited. I occasionally work Britt catering (I hope everyone enjoyed it; my dad's the manager--and head of catering--at the restaraunt that provided it, the Jacksonville Inn), and I also occasionally volunteer at one of the food booths. I could have done either for this concert, but I'm very happy I waited, however uselessly, in line all day. Not only did I grab a good spot, but waiting also relaxed me so I could fully enjoy an awesome show. People hesitated to dance at first; Britt gets like that when much of the audience comes with picnic baskets and wine expecting a quiet evening. During the carnival part, I was the first person in front to jump up and dance after I watched my uncomfortable neighbors sit around for too long--when Jamie Cullum comes back, I'll bring plenty of people as ready to dance as I am (and willing to sit in line as long too)! I hope you come back soon-- I promise I'll tell everybody I know (yeah, that's how it works around here), and I know a lot of people in this community who would love to come next time! Thanks for the song about Jacksonville! We all love you here!

This was not a concert that I purchased tickets for early in the year, but I am so glad I decided to attend the show. What a refreshing experience to witness Jamie & his Band. I have seen many shows at Britt in the past twentysomething years but only a few have truely left me in awe. I will remember this show as a great "sleeper" in the same manner as seeing Michael Hedges in the late Eighties. Thank you Jamie, PLEASE come again

Thanks Jamie! What energy and talent. One of the best concerts I have ever attended at the Britt (or anywhere). The crowd was great. It is unfortunate that you are somewhat undiscovered in the US. Please return next year.

Wow!!! I didn't even really know who Jamie Cullum was before I went to this concert! I've never been blown away more by an entertainer! I'm a huge fan now and will make sure that everyone I know goes next time he comes. He played the piano brilliantly with fast, crisp riffs. He also used it like a percussion instrument and played the strings inside the piano! Killer voice, wonderful guitar playing, drums, dancing, and singing many of his own songs! He was all over that stage with a fiercely positive energy and unique style. He got the audience so fired up no one wanted to sit or leave. I was so charged after this concert that I couldn't sleep and have been listening to the 3 CDs I bought there nonstop since. Can't get enough of this phenomenal man! If he comes anywhere near you, go see him! You won't be disappointed!

My husband & I drove 10 hours through sagebrush and the heat to see the show at Britt. (We saw Jamie in Portland in March too.) And it was definitely worth every minute on the road. We had a perfect time. The atmosphere was electric and magical and Jamie totally rocked the house! Thanks for the memories and thanks for getting me back into playing the piano! Please come to Idaho someday....

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing Jaime and his band are! My sister introduced me to his music only a few months ago, but the moment I heard him I fell in love. The concert was incredible, his music is captivating, Jaime is gorgeous AND has a great sense of style. (we loved his jeans) Anytime he is within a three state radius of me I will be there. Although nothing will compare to sitting on a blanket with my sis, drinking wine, the sun setting over the stage... I vow to attend every Jaime concert possible to see if its possible to get any better. Any music lover of any age would love his sound and agree with me when I say, we want more Jaime! Although he isn't a great pool player, I heard he is a great kisser! xoxo
