I went to see this concert expecting to only hear the music--I was very surprised to see that the venue was small, allowing for great acoustics and an view of the stage. I loved the entire show--Jamie was awesome, and the band was fun to watch as well. Everyone did a great job, and I was very surprised by how much effort Jamie put into his performance. I got tired just watching him, and I didn't notice when he didn't play my favorite song from Catching Tales because he did so many other ones that were incredible. I thought Jamie's version of Rocket Man was amazing, and I wish he would cover the song in a future album. This was my first concert, and I greatly enjoyed it. I have been recommending Jamie's music to everyone I've come in contact with, and I hope that he gets recognition for being the wonderful artist that he is, but part of me hopes that he will always be able to perform in tiny auditoriums such as Carolina Theatre. It was so personal and intimate. I kept expecting the concert to be over--multiple times--but to my delight it kept going! The concert made my summer, and I plan to see every future performance of Jamie's in the coming years.

I got these tickets to the show as a birthday present from my boyfriend and I was so thankful that I could go. Jamie is amazing and one of my favorite artists. I loved when he invited all of the fans to come up closer to the stage. I loved how he interacted with the crowd and I love his personality. I am definitely waiting for another album to come out...JAMIE IM YOUR NUMBER ONE FAN! Everyone should listen to him, he is amazing.

Just wanted to say that Jamie is AWESOME!! I am a huge music buff and do not enjoy most mainstream music today. It's "entertaining", but tends to lack real artistry and substance. Both Jamie's covers and originals accomplish the task of being layered, well written, and having just a great overall sound. There are no sacrafices in his music. His songs are satisfying in several ways. Thanks Jamie for being one of the bright lights in the music world and for making your music available to people like me. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you again soon in the states!
