The Kursaal receives some of the best Artists in the world, we are lucky to have it in San Sebastian. Last night it cerainly hosted one of the best and most interesting young atists in the world in Jamie. His topsy turvy repertoire of peaks and troughs kept the illusion of imporovistaion alive and the audience captivated. Seeing Ben Harper in the same venue 2 weeks before Jamie and his (incredible) band was something daunting to live up to. He did it. And who were that billiant support group?

Excellent gig last night. Jamie cullum is a genius. Would relly love to see him play during the Donostia Jazz festival on Zurriola beach during July, more room for dancing! Highlights included; covers of high & dry (radiohead), teardrop (massive attack), black-eyed peas/kayne west/pussycat dolls remix and an amazing acoustic double bass(I think)/voice combo of there was a boy from the opening title of Moulin Rouge. A gig full of passion, suprises and above all outstandingly talented musicans. Mila esker (short version of Eskerrik asko) eta gero arte (see you soon)

Amazing!!!! There are no words to describe the concert. I was not a fan until yesterday. I even regret not having bought better tickets... Anyway, I want to thank Jamie, Eskerrik asko!! (in Basque, as he was saying it during the whole concert), and also want to apologise for the coldness of the people, he tried really hard to make us get up and dance, but it was impossible. Anyway, thank you so much for this amazing evening!!

A sell-out crowd of all ages saw one of the best concerts of the year at the Kursaal on Saturday night. I got some friends to accompany us and they were not disappointed either. It is true that the crowd was a bit cool at first but Jamie worked at it. He showed his incredible vocal range with that mature voice which would be more attributed to someone twice his age. His piano skills are evident but he also delighted us with a James Taylor number on the guitar. His stage presence was dominating choosing the right amount of more upbeat numbers tempered with slower ones, both standards and his own compositions taken from his three CDs. "The Wind Cries Mary" is one my favourites which was more in the style of his performance at Blenheim Palace than on his disc. However, I was disappointed he did not play "Everlasting Love" which is also one of his best standards. But who is complaining. Not many artists/groups give us such a varied and dynamic show for 2 hours 15 minutes. So many just go through the motions, say thanks and go on to the next town. Jamie worked hard at it, took the audience by the scruff of the neck, shook us out and ended up having us eating out of the palm of his hand. At some point everything clicked and it became not just a good night but a memorable one - you could sense Jamie was enjoying himself - one of those which you do not experience many times in your life. At the end a long standing ovation was the well deserved order of the day. A mention should be given to the four members of his band who showed that they are excellent musicians. Also his support crew should be thanked especially the video team who provided some really good backdrops. A truely consumate professional performance by all. Thanks very much Jamie and I second the comment that we would love to see you at the Jazz Festival at the end of July. Please, please make it a date in your calendar.

Thanks guys!! It's 2006-12-02 today... I've being smiling for 21 days! :D Me and my brother travelled from Bilbao to see you and... how can I measure just how much I enjoyed? Hmmmm How deep is the ocean...? :P It was the first time we've seen Jamie and his extraordinary band live and we loved his abbility to make people feel welcome at the concerts. You can stand at the back of 10.000 of people and still feel that he's talking directly to you, it's amazing! Eskerrik asko! If I'd had the chance to meet Jamie after the gig it would really have being the best night ever! Sorry about my english... I hope you to come back soon! Gabon. So

I don't really understand about jazz, but in my opinion Jamie Cullum is gorgeous. I had a very good time and I hope he will come back soon.
