Just got back from seeing Jamie. Brilliant as always! Always amazed at how much energy he has. Loved his White Castle t-shirt! Happy that I got to seem him in St. Louis twice in 6 months, sad that it will be awhile before he returns, but when he does, he'll most likely have a new album! I can hardly wait! By the way, Josh Ritter is terrific, really enjoyed him. If you get a chance to see Jamie before his tour ends, by all means go, you will not be disappointed, he's sooo much fun!

Jamie was terrific as always last night. St. Louis loves Jamie Cullum! We are already going through withdrawals! Hope the next album is as great as the others. Good luck and see you soon.

Wow!! The concert was again - Awesome! We had a great time. Jamie was so cool and down to earth. The band played so well, especially the trumpet player. Getting to meet the band was the highlight of the evening. Can't wait till he comes back again! See pics: http://www.geocities.com/treece.rm/webpagesamples/jamiecullumconcert.html

Jamie, thank you for coming back to St. Louis! Your performance was, once again, fantastic. Your energy and obvious joy while performing, despite a grueling tour schedule, made last night a true gift. How lucky you are to play with such outstanding musicians. I left the Pageant completely satisfied, and very eager for the next album. A few requests, if I may: Please record your cover of Kelly Clarkson's song; it is far superior to the original! Please bring Josh Ritter with you to St. Louis next year. And, please don't stay away too long. Also, if you value your health, you may want to avoid White Castle...we don't want to lose you!

I had the pleasure of attending Jamie Cullumís concert last night in St. Louis, and I canít remember having more fun at another concert. Jamie was a fireball of energy on stage, and we had a blast dancing, singing, jumping and clapping through his entire set. I had a fabulous view of the stage from my seat to the near right of stage, and there was easy access to get down on the dance floor right in front of the stage for a closer look. He wore a white castle t-shirt and joked about eating the legendary St. Louis white castle hamburgers. He sang all my favorite songs and sounded absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed his version of Kelly Clarksonís ìSince U Been Goneî, that was a nice surprise. We expected it, and Jamie didnít disappoint by jumping off his piano several times during his performance. My friend and I decided to have some fun near the end of the concert and threw a massively large pair of womenís underwear on stage with the message ìWe love you BIG TIME Jamieî written on them. (Yes, that was us if you were there!)Jamie immediately picked up the undies, showed the audience and said that he obviously had some ìBIGî fans in St. Louis. It was a good laugh, and I got a picture of him holding up the underwear for all to see. At the very end of the concert Jamie surprised us all by sitting down at the front of the stage (the stage was about shoulder level from the dance floor), hanging his legs over the side and jumping off into the crowd. I was shocked that he just happened to do this right in front of me, and as he jumped down I gave him a quick hug before he headed off into the audience singing and walking around for a bit. It was a really incredible concert moment for me, Iíll never forget it! After the concert we had the chance to meet Jamie and his opening act Josh Ritter, and we asked what he thought about our underwear. He said they all thought it was funny, and had hung the underwear up on their tour bus. He was very gracious and attentive speaking with us and all his other fans and posing for pictures after the concert. Here is some of his setlist (with a few songs missing): I get a kick out of you Get your way 20 something These are the days Mind trick What a difference a day makes Photograph Since u been gone Bringing sexy back Frontin Blame it on my youth Youíve got a friend London skies All at sea High and dry I could have danced all night I also really enjoyed the opening act, Josh Ritter. I didnít know anything about him or his music, but his songs remind me of folksy David Gray songs, and he had an amusing and natural rapport with the audience throughout his set that made his performance very enjoyable. All in all it was an amazing night for me. Thanks so much, Jamie, for all the effort you put into your performance! I definitely get a kick out of YOU! Please come back to the area soon. I'm looking forward to your new album! Kathy

So, I'm a little late writing my review, but, here goes. I had never heard of Jamie before going to his concert. My husband saw his concert on Channel 9 (public television) and immediately knew I would enjoy seeing him. So, I went to this concert not knowing a thing about Jamie, but trusting my husband. Then Josh Ritter opened the show and he was really terrific. I decided that even if I didn't like this "Jamie guy" that the evening was still worth it. Josh wore this little grin through his whole set and it was obvious he was having fun. He has a terrific sense of humor and some great songs with fantastic lyrics. Then...it was time for Jamie. Wow. I honestly have never seen anyone perform with so much energy. What I noticed the most from his performance is his sheer love for music. His sense of humor (loved the White Castle t-shirt and the rag-a-rama tie) comes out in his performance and you can't help but be in a good mood watching him. He does it all and he LOVES doing it all. Watching him pound on the drums non-stop wore me out! I also really enjoyed some of the little "extras" ("...don't you wish you boyfriend was short like me..." he he he). Great show. Brilliant musician. Already bought his CDs (along with Josh Ritter's) and am looking forward to more.
