As always, Jamie, the concert last night was phenomenal! ìLondon Skiesî was incredible with the pics of your hometown in the background. It brought a tear to my British husbandís eyes, so touching. The icing on the cake was when we had the opportunity to meet you at the end of the night. Iím embarrassed to say (that even at almost 30!), I was a little star-struck and didnít get to say what I had planned to when I met you. So here goesÖYou are the most amazing and talented artist. I listen to your music every morning on my way to work and it puts a smile on my face! THANK YOU!

Jamie is incredibly talented. He is simultaneously lively, yet soulful. It is obvious he feels the music and shares it through every instument he touches and is amazing at involving the crowd. A great mix of covers reworked with his own flavor. Impressive "surprise" performances. World class. Will definitely catch him when he tours again.

This was my second Jaime Cullum show thus far, and I must stress thus far! Such a great performer. I grew up listening to old blues and Jazz standards, but damn, what an incredibe intensity he and his band give to that magical music! There hasnt been one day in the past 2 years that I haven't listened or at least hummed one of Jaime's music. Great Music, Terrific Musicianship, and what a great night!!!! Cant wait to see him again! CHUCK

This gig was on the mellow side, and Jamie seemed a little tired. That said, there were some magical moments - can you doubt it? There was a little strain in his voice, and superb musician that he is, that merely prompted him to do some very beautiful, new things with the melody line at the end of "Blame it on My Youth," where he might have thought he didn't have the high notes at the moment. Just gorgeous. And I'd never heard the intro to that song before - I didn't know what he was singing until the verse started, so thanks for that, Jamie. Another magic moment was a particularly beautiful performance of "What a Difference," one that Jamie shines on always. I was enthralled. I cherish the times when Jamie throws something new and unexpected into the mix. In the midst of "Seven Nation Army," all of a sudden, he starts singing the melody from John Coltrane's "Resolution." I nearly fell off my chair - is there a piece of music in the world this guy DOESN'T know? And is there a standard Jamie doesn't know? Probably not. In New Haven, it was "I Thought About You," a song I've loved since I was a kid and my parents played Frank Sinatra's version. This gave Jamie the occasion to bring terrific guitarist / singer Doug Wamble onstage for an extraordinary guitar solo and to sing a verse himself. Jamie's generosity to other musicians always touches me; he praised Doug to the skies, plugged his albums, and told us all to go out and buy them. Rory played an exceptional solo, but I'm ashamed to say I forget which song (strictly my crummy memory, no fault of Roryís!). But props to Rory anyway; the guy has really grown since his debut with the band in June; he seems happy, relaxed, and totally integrated into the band, and his solos have just blossomed. A fine Jamie gig, with some terrific highlights and, as always, solid, superb musicianship and nothing short of a very good time; bittersweet, though, in that this marked the last time Iíll see Jamie perform for a while. But I have memories of 12 fantastic shows to carry me through to next time!

I don't know why no one has submitted a review yet, so I guess I will be the first. This was the 3rd time we have seen Jamie, and the show was AWESOME as always. Tons of energy, great music, and great stage presence all combine to make a JC conert what it is. There is no way you can go to one of his shows and not have fun, even if you've never heard of him before. This was the first time we've seen a Jamie Cullum show where there is a large projection screen behind the band that shows live shots of what's going on and pre-recoreded bits that are in synch with the music. I liked this a lot and think it added a little extra something to the show (not that it was needed). The surprise collaboration with local talent Doug Wamble was very cool. I had never heard of him before, but went home and ordered both of his CDs. About the only downside to the entire evening was when Jamie announced that after this tour he will not be back in the states for a little over a year. True, by that time there will be a new album out, but it makes me a little sad to not have another show to look forward to in the immediate future. Anyway, keep up the good work, and we look forward to hearing your new stuff when it's ready and seeing you again next year!
