Every perfect, was a wanderful show and jamie was a fastastic boy , it captivated the people and made the theater of sesi to go crazy... For me had two perfect moments: the first one when it sang dindin in Portuguese and as, when I kissed your hand ( crazy, so crazy...). So Jamie to finish please comes back the Porto Alegre soon . Thank's and so long. GllÛria, Porto Alegre.

Sitting on the third row, tight in front of the middle of the stage, I saw those amazing musicians I admire so much walk in. Rory and Tom are new ìacquisitionsî that pleased me a lot, but the ìbitter-sweetî long-term obsession for the trio Jamie ñ Geoff ñ Seb led me to focus all my attention to the three of them most of the time. I was witnessing every unique second of a perfect harmony being born right before 1,700 people, give or take. A magical work of art. All my attention would be focused on Jamie for a while, still unfaithful that I was finally seeing all that happening live. Then I would focus on Geoff and every note played on his bass. The next moment would be just for Seb and his mesmerizing work on the drums made me admire him even more, especially when playing samba. Then I started it all over again: Jamie Cullum. Geoff Gascoyne. Sebastiaan de Krom. Jamie, as everybody knows, is extremely nice and funny and drove the audience insane for over two hours. After playing "Old Devil Moon", he started out by trying to speak Portuguese (which already makes any Brazilian happy). There was actual interaction and great chemistry with the audience through the entire evening. Besides, itís just so easy to relate to the ìkidî jumping up and down, partying, and making jokes on stage. The second song was "Get Your Way" where a few alteration in word was made, such as ìEnglishmen never kiss and tellî and ìThis will be fun, I supposeî, sentence repeated a number of times, referring to the gig itself, allowing enough time for the entire house to agree with that (and it sure was). "Next Year Baby" came next, followed by a short explanation on how and why the song was written, to which one fan yelled from the second row ìyou nasty!î and he looked at her and said ìyeah, exactlyî. If you want to know the story, ask Jamie, I donít gossip. "Twentysomething" came right after that, being immediately followed by "What a Difference a Day Made". The big surprise was at the end of it when, instead of saying ì(the difference is) youî he started singing "My Funny Valentine", a cappella, one of the most beautiful moments of the concert. Then it was time for a little piano beating a pretty unusual cover medley: "Since Youíve Been Gone"/ "So Sick"/ "Sexy Back"/ "Donít Cha"/ "I Got a Woman"/ "Frontiní". Only an artist with Jamieís talent could mix such different (and some even mediocre) songs and make them all sound so good. "Our Day Will Come" had another surprise, a samba version, when he even dances to it. After "These Are The Days" came the moment everybody who just knows Jamie from the soaps was waiting for: "Mind Trick". Then, even the girls who was sitting there, absolutely lost, not recognizing any of the songs, sang along, smiled, and twitched on her seat. When it was over, a few more ìna-na-nasî kept us all going, until it ended again. Then Jamie gets up and starts jumping up and down and singing the ìna-na-nasî again, and everybody was going to start again, but he just stopped, said ìnahî (as in no) or something and sat back on the piano. Then he tells the band he had forgotten the words and starts singing Tom Jobimís "Dindi" in English, switching to Portuguese in the middle of it, with his cutest little accent. Once itís over he says ìthatís quite difficultî but reads the words perfectly out of a sheet of paper. The band leave and another huge surprise comes our way: a solo number of "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes, a performance that ends with him gradually bending over and laying on the floor. The band comes back and he grabs his guitar to sing "London Skies", ìon a cold Porto Alegre Dayî, followed by the opening part of "Mais Que Nada". Geoff grabs his bass and both him and Jamie go down to play and sing "Nature Boy". Not all is perfect and some very impolite fans trying to get autographs or get Jamieís attention at the wrong moment get in the way of it being even better than it was. The word fools is replaced by both Bush and Blair, thereís no better analogy, I guess. Back on stage, Jamie says we donít have to go back to our seats and ended up the gig with "High and Dry"/ "Singiní in the Rain", getting us to make a two-voice choir to back him up. That was probably the most magical moment for me, since Iíve always worshiped what he did at Glastonbury. For the encore, they played "All at Sea", "I Could Have Danced All Night" (we could have), and "I Get a Kick out of You". All the fans got a kick out of the gig, Iím sure, and left the theater felling completely fulfilled and desperately hoping it doesnít take too long for him to come perform for us again. Great night. Great musicians. Dreams do come true. Juliana B. Bittencourt - a.k.a "Faye" (Faye_Reloaded)

Hey Jamie, I don¥t have words to describe the show that you did on Sesi theater. I had never imagine that I would become a great fan of you before even met you! After that Sunday I started to listen your songs everyday when I am in my way to the university, to the gym, to work, to party, ohh no, I became addicted!!! (joking). We (my girlfriend and I) have only one regret about you time here in Brazil: we dindn¥t get your autograph and even a picture with you. But I, hopefully, wait that you will come back to the country of samba. By the way, it was amazing your performance of Dindi.¥ Jamie, I guess it was a great pleasure for you to play in Brazil, as you said on the show. But believe when I say: it was a pleasure to us to have you here. Have a nice trip on Estates and best wishes for you. Your new fan, Matheus.
