from Holly (Bez)

Having been persuaded to leave the comfort of my back garden, put some respectable clothes on and save topping up my tan for another day, I arrived at Orford yacht club to see a young man energetically playing the piano upon a small platform in the middle of a garden surrounded by small groups of people with picnics. After apologising for his croaky voice ( he had just completed his new album (Twenty Something) at 2am the night before!) he leapt into performances of both Pointless Nostalgic and the then new TwentySomething album tracks surprising and entertaining much of his audience as he suggestively sniffed in 'I get a kick...' and then proceeded to jump onto the speakers, while the sheep in the neighbouring field made the occasional input! Despite the volatile weather (scorching sun being replaced by fickle rain) Jamie, Geoff and Seb kept the audience involved, highly entertained and impressed - even the increasingly dark clouds wouldn't budge us from the wet grass! Not an unpleasant way to spend an afternoon, in my opinion.
