SETTING THE WORLD ON FIRE - JAMIE CULLUM
2006 looks set to be the year that Jamie Cullum dominates the world with his fantastic 2nd Universal album 'Catching Tales' and his unbelievable live shows.
Sold out is the new adjective to apply to Jamie's concerts, alongside 'Fantastic'. His January tour of Europe, including a show for heads of state and business leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, was completely sold out. His 20 date American Tour in March was announced two weeks ago, and tickets sold out within hours. We are not just talking small venues either! In San Francisco ticket lines were hottest and the show sold out in 2 hours!
With Jamie already dominating the radio networks (Number 1 airplay in Japan!) and with TV appearances already booked on Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel it looks like our friends overseas are hailing Jamie as a GREAT BRITISH EXPORT!
Jamie is soon to announce major venue summer shows in Europe, and was recently surprised to find that a major Denmark National Radio station cleared all their output to make it 'An Official Jamie Cullum Day' on the station.
World-wide sales figures for Jamie are already reaching the 1 million mark on ëCatching Talesí with almost 300,000 of those being in the UK, and the album is only just being released in some territories. The recent 'Live at Ronnie Scotts EP' charted top ten in every European iTunes store.
On 1st May 2006, Jamie Cullum will be releasing the third single from his Gold-certified album "Catching Tales". Photograph is a beautiful song that showcases Jamieís ability to write a classic which will appeal to fans old and new.
The single will be available on enhanced CD, and as well as the title track, there is a remix by Johnny Douglas, a version of Elton Johnís "Rocket Man" which was first transmitted by the BBC for their "Elton John:Ann Ivor Novello Tribute" show in November 04, plus the video for "Photograph".
Tracklisting as follows:
1. Photograph (album edit)
2. Photograph (remix)
3. Rocket Man
4. Photograph video [more...]
