25th of November 2004 - Handsome Boy Modeling School

School's in session and the stars have enrolled! Entertainment Weekly just hailed Handsome Boy Modeling School's sophomore album WHITE PEOPLE as one of the 25 most-anticipated albums of the fall. Headed by the super-producer duo of Prince Paul (known for his work with De la Soul and Stetsasonic) and Dan 'The Automator' Nakamura (Gorillaz), WHITE PEOPLE features an eclectic cast of players including Cat Power, the RZA, Pharrell Williams, De La Soul, Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, the Deftones, Kid Koala, Mars Volta, Jack Johnson, Jamie Cullum, John Oates, and more, as well as comic interludes from SNL's Father Guido Sarducci and Tim Meadows. This 'novel soundtrack of head-nodding hip-hop and smooth blue-eyed soul' (EW) is out now.

Music Industry Trust Awards

Jamie was one of the artists to perform at last night's Music Industry Trust Awards honouring Universal Music Group International chairman Lucian Grainge. Jamie, along with the Sugababes performed a version of U2's classic Mysterious Ways. Other artists to perform included Mika, Take That and Razorlight and other artists present on the night included Girls Aloud, Snow Patrol, The Feeling, James Morrison and none other than U2 themselves who presented the Universal Boss with his award.
