On Wednesdays from 24th January 22.03 - 22.30 Jamie presents a new three-part series on BBC Radio 2 charting the career of Herbie Hancock - one of jazz's living legends, after forty years in music. Herbie Hancock is one of the most pioneering musicians of modern times. On the one hand he is one of the most influential jazz pianists of the last 40 years, on the other hand he's a cutting edge electronic artist. This series will feature an exclusive interview with the man himself, recorded in Madrid (during his European tour) last November.

WISM Update

Attention everyone. Jamie will be performing with Soil and Pimp Sessions on both nights of WISM and not just on saturday as we may have led you to believe before. Friday's halloween night show with Soil & Pimp Sessions will be an electric set and the following day, Organic Saturday, will be an acoustic set with Soil & Pimp Sessions. At the end of both days all musicians will perform together in a big jam session. And on top of all that there will be a costume contest on Friday night, so get dressed up! [more...]
