My husband and I had a great time at the Nashville show. The performances by the opening act, Imelda May, and Jamie Cullum (and band) were wonderful. We saw JC in Atlanta a few years ago and it was also a great concert, but the depth and range of this performance reveals the study and work that have happened between albums. We love the energy Jamie brings and appreciate his interaction with the audience. Cry Me a River performed sans mic was a treat to say the least. Gabe Dixon's *surprise* performance on piano with Jamie was impressive. The smoking amp was dealt with swiftly while Jamie played guitar for us. Of course, Jamie invited everyone to come down toward the stage for the last few songs. My husband (a.k.a. #1 fan) got to shake hands with Jamie. I will be checking into Gabe Dixon and Imelda May after this and attending all future JC concerts in our area.
