My good friend (who now lives in Uganda) introduced me to Jamie's music six years ago. Since then he has been to Atlanta four times and she's always been my Jamie Cullum buddy. Except for this show :( However I was able to invite some Jamie-newbies and he did not disappoint!!! What was even more impressive was the awesomeness of the show despite some pretty frustrating circumstances (getting stuck in customs, getting stuck in Atlanta traffic and having to walk on dry without any sound check/run through/etc). It really said a lot about him that he was thoroughly entertaining and engaging and he'd not even changed out of his "plane" clothes.

Love it!!

He did a pretty mixed set list - the standard version of Cry Me a River sung over JT's musical arrangement of Cry Me a River. I got a kick out of his Bass and vocal version of "I Get A Kick Out of You." But his original "Love Ain't Gonna Let You Down" definitely won my heart. I was so glad he played that song since it was the current jam in my car.

Can' wait to see him again in Tampa...with my friend who is visiting from Uganda!!!
