This is the third time I have seen Jamie live and it was amazing as usual. I was standing right up against the stage (girl with the really bright jacket) haha. Anyways Jamie almost stepped on my fingers a few times which was ,in an odd way, AWESOME! haha if only he would of then maybe he would have talked to me haha. Well anyways I am a piano player also funny story, I saw Jamie for the first time in Jacksonville, Oregon for a jazz camp I was at and at the time I was just playing bass and I saw Jamie and his wonderful playing and that day I decided I wanted to take up jazz piano so I did and have been playing for about 4 years and am one of the most accomplished young piano players in Southern Oregon. Seeing him in person the first time was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Oh look now I am ranting. Well what I was expecting at the concert at the Crystal Ballroom is for him to pull someone up on stage like he usually does (Joe was at the last concert so that was planned and doesn't count) so that's why I wanted to be up close to the stage but sadly I didn't get to stay for the encores because my dad is 47 years old and his freaking back was hurting from standing so long, I tried to tell him to suck it up but of course he didn't so I had to miss the ending of the most important concert I have ever been to. He just doesn't understand how important sing Jamie is to me so hopefully Jamie will make it back around sometime soon and I won't be taking my dad with me.
Thank you so much Jamie for gracing us with your presence and wonderful music.
I will be posting some pictures this week so keep your eyes out for them.
Well adios for now,
maybe I will write again in the future.
