We were hanging out to see Jamie at The Basement in Sydney... originally from just next to his hometown in the UK, and currently living in Brisbane… my beautiful wife and I travelled to Sydney specifically to attend this gig. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jamie on the Monday morning after his performance on "Sunrise" where he kindly posed for a couple of photos. Such a polite and quiet chap.

That image of him completely changed on the night.. WHAT an entertainer....WHAT a performance and WHAT a show... his energy and enthusiasm shined through, we were entertained from the second he came on stage until the second he left. We could not imagine a better venue to see Jamie, and we cannot wait for him to come back to Australia… (please come to Brisbane next time though!)

If you get the chance to see him, do not miss out… we just wish we were back in Cheltenham in a couple of weeks when he’s playing at the Jazz Festival there.. to our friends back home who are going.. enjoy.. you lucky things…
