My Third Jamie show and he seems more comfortable with taking steps away from what would be a musicain's comfort level. That turns out to be a great reward for the fans (and we LOVE him in Portland). I've seen bands that left me feeling "I could have stayed at home and listened to the cd." Not so here - Jamie wants to have fun and the highlights of the show were when he stepped away from the expected i.e. London skies with just him, his guitar and audience, bringing Joe the harmonica player onstage - fabulous, barely playing the piano but mostly percussion sounds on Frontin'.
His musical choice, comfort level about not sticking to the cd "script", the talent level of the musicians and the obvious fun that he and the audience are having shows a growth that means we have so much to look forward to. I'm glad that you included us on this US tour and I won't miss another chance to see you.
Jamie - you are the best
